When finding errors in complex integration tests, it is useful to start the HMC or other extension on the junit tenant to check what data is stored there.

To do this please follow these steps:

  • Open HAC
  • Go to Platform > Tenants
  • Go to the junit Tenant
  • Click on the button Activate
  • Now go to your extension adding¬†;tenantID=junit at the end of the url. For example, to log into HMC use:
http://localhost:9001/hmc/hybris;tenantID=junit

Once the junit tenant active is, you can start any extension with the URL suffix above to see what it is stored on that tenant. It is also possible to activate and use the extensions with other tenants.

Based on Hybris 4.8.17

1.Is the port mentioned in http://localhost:8001/hmc/hybris;tenantID=junit a typo? By default it's 9001. Of course we can configure whatever port we want hybrisserver to start with
2. What do you mean by the following line? Can you give some example?
Once the junit tenant active is, you can start any extension with the URL suffix to see what it is stored on that tenant.
